TWICE drew 550,000 attendees for their North American Tour... Record high for K-Pop girl group.
TWICE successfully concluded their North American leg of the 'THIS IS FOR' world tour, which began last January. The tour, which started in Incheon and traveled through Asia and Australia, wrapped up with a performance in Austin, USA, on the 18th (local time). By holding a total of 35 shows across 20 North American cities, they completed their "largest-ever" tour.
The schedule, originally planned for 22 performances in 20 cities, saw additional shows confirmed one after another as tickets sold out quickly. Performances were added in major cities such as Vancouver, Seattle, Oakland, Dallas, Washington D.C., Belmont Park, Hamilton, Orlando, Boston, Chicago, and Austin, while Los Angeles hosted as many as four shows, proving their immense popularity.
Having set another record through their North American tour, TWICE is also on the verge of a new milestone in Japan. They are scheduled to hold solo concerts at the Tokyo National Stadium on the 25th, 26th, and 28th, becoming the first overseas artists to do so. Performing three shows at this massive venue, which accommodates approximately 80,000 people per show, they are challenging for yet another "first" record.
