IVE member Rei shared her thoughts on serving as an awards ceremony MC for the second consecutive year.
Rei will attend the '3rd Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2026' ('ASEA 2026'), held at the Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, on the afternoon of May 16. She is scheduled to lead the awards ceremony alongside Monsta X member Hyungwon. Rei began by telling NewsN, "I am Rei, serving as the MC for the '3rd Asia Star Entertainer Awards'," adding, "Thanks to your enthusiastic support, I have been able to serve as the awards ceremony MC for two consecutive years."
She continued, "I will show you a great performance as an MC again this year, so please come in person and cheer for me," adding, "I hear that not only I, but also the best artists who have shined in Asia, are preparing incredible stages. Please look forward to it."
Rei expressed her honor at being selected as an MC for two consecutive years, stating, "I challenged myself to host an awards ceremony for the first time through 'ASEA 2025' last year, and it remains a truly special memory. I am very excited and am looking forward to this stage as well. Since I am stepping up as an MC once again, I will prepare diligently to show you a more mature version of myself, so please look forward to my performance."
Previously, Rei made a successful debut as an awards ceremony MC at the 'Asia Star Entertainer Awards 2025', held at K-Arena Yokohama in Yokohama, Japan, on May 28 of last year. Representing the team, she also received the main award, 'THE PLATINUM'.
