Lee Chaeyeon's agency, DAYONEDREAM, released an interview video on their official social media on the 11th, featuring behind-the-scenes stories about the new album and her thoughts on the comeback.
In the video, Lee Chaeyeon explained why she continued various activities during her hiatus, such as appearing on soccer variety shows and running a YouTube channel, stating, "I wanted to show various sides of myself so that my fandom, 'Cherish,' wouldn't feel like the break was too long." She further expressed her deep love for her fans, saying, "I feel the most fulfilled when I see my fans happy."
She also conveyed that this album holds even greater significance as it is the first work she is presenting under her new agency. She shared her thoughts on the comeback, saying, "I was excited yet nervous at the thought of showing various sides of myself in my new home," and added, "I also feel a great sense of responsibility to show an even better side of myself." She also did not hide her affection for the title track, "No Tears On The Dancefloor (NTOTD)." Lee Chaeyeon explained, "As soon as I heard it for the first time, I was convinced that 'this is the song.' I thought it was the song that best suited to show a new beginning."
She also revealed that she personally participated in the choreography production process. She stated, “I thought we needed choreography that could convey the song’s emotions and message with greater sincerity,” explaining that she put a lot of effort into the performance composition. While admitting to having perfectionist tendencies, she also expressed confidence in the growth she has achieved through her stage experience. Lee Chaeyeon said, "Now, even without anyone telling me, I judge on my own the angles and movements that look better on camera,” adding, “I think I have gained a sense of seasoned professionalism as my years have accumulated." She identified “Nevertheless” as the core message of her 4th mini album, *Till I Die*. She explained, "Because I truly love the stage, I wanted to express my determination to stand on it until the very end," describing the album as "a record of not giving up no matter what difficulties come my way." She added, “I hope it is remembered as a leap forward rather than a memory of sadness." She also conveyed a warm message of encouragement to her fans. Lee Chaeyeon said, "I hope this music can provide even a little bit of strength to those going through difficult times."
Finally, she did not forget to express her gratitude to her fandom, “Cherish,” who have been with her for a long time. "I think we have endured the winter well together so far," she said, expressing her affection. "I hope that from now on, we will be filled only with good times, like the season when flowers bloom." She concluded the interview with a pledge to "become an artist who repays you with even better performances, just as you have always stood by my side ."
This interview is receiving positive feedback for going beyond a simple comeback introduction to offer a glimpse into Lee Chaeyeon’s sincerity toward the stage and her strengthened inner self.
