Honda Hitomi has been selected as a permanent MC for the new variety show "닥치고 한일전 (litteral: Shut up and fight between Korea and Japan)." Premiering on June 7 at 8 PM, the new KBS Joy variety show "Shut Up and Korea-Japan Match" is a program that resolves various issues between Koreans and Japanese—ranging from minor differences in opinion to real-life disputes—through games. Hitomi will co-host with comedians Lee Soo-geun and Hwang Je-seong. Having experienced idol activities in both Korea and Japan, Hitomi is expected to lead the program by taking responsibility for facilitating communication between the two nations. In particular, her fluent Korean skills foreshadow great chemistry with the diverse cast members.
