We learnt back in April that FIFTY FIFTY would be acting in "After-School Exorcism Club". We learn now that it will be released in theatres on June 25, 2026.
"After-School Exorcism Club" is the theatrical version of the KITZ Premium short-form drama of the same name, which was released on May 22. This marks the first time a domestic short-form drama has been confirmed for theatrical screening.
"After-School Exorcism Club", a KITZ original film, is a teen occult comedy featuring five quirky and lively high school girls who team up to exorcise an earthbound spirit from their school. "After-School Exorcism Club" is a project planned from the initial stages to include film, mid-form series, and short-form drama versions. It shares the same worldview as FiftyFifty's fourth mini-album, " Imperfect-I'mperfect ." The film goes beyond simply converting the vertical short-form drama into a horizontal format; it utilizes animation to enhance the narrative. It brings to life the backstories of the ghosts from the school ghost stories through animation, a detail not seen in the short-form drama. Audiences in theaters can enjoy a richer visual experience than they would from the short-form drama.
