According to My Daily, Mina will star as the female lead in the new drama, "나를 지켜줘" (litteral: Protect Me).
Protect Me' is an office romantic comedy between Do Jun-hyeok and Kang Hae-ra.
Mina will play Hae-ra. Hae-ra is a former national Taekwondo team member and a detective in the violent crimes unit recruited through a special martial arts program. Her agile movements, flowing ponytail, and mischievous grin are uniquely pretty and truly uplifting. She is a "smart girl" when it comes to others' affairs but acts like a "foolish know-it-all" when it comes to her own—to put it nicely, she is full of affection; to put it negatively, she is a "meddler."
Do Jun-hyeok is a former national team detective who doesn't trust himself, who goes undercover as a secretary to a third-generation chaebol heir who doesn't trust others. The drama will show how the two, who initially lacked trust, protect and save each other. It is based on the webtoon of the same name.
