According to her agency, JYP Entertainment, Dahyun donated 30 million won (about $20M or 17M€) to the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea on her birthday, the 28th of last month.
The funds will be used to cover treatment costs and provide medical support for leukemia patients in the Ulsan region who are struggling with the financial burden of treatment.
Dahyun stated, "To celebrate my birthday, I wanted to share the love I have received. I hope that my heartfelt gesture can be a source of strength and comfort, however small, to those currently undergoing treatment."
