Girl group fromis_9 has decided to make a comeback this coming summer, solidifying their position as the "Summer Queen."
According to OSEN, fromis_9 is preparing with the goal of a comeback this coming July. This comeback marks approximately seven months since the release of "White Longing" on December 2nd of last year . After leaving Pledis Entertainment and reorganizing into a five-member group, fromis_9 found a new home at their new agency, Ascend. They released their new mini-album "From Our 20’s" last June and proved their continued strength by winning first place on music shows with the title track "LIKE YOU BETTER." fromis_9's upward trajectory has continued. Following 'LIKE YOU BETTER,' the remake digital single 'White Longing' secured three wins on music shows and landed in the top ranks of music charts, guaranteeing a 'carol pension.' Subsequently, they successfully concluded the '2025-26 fromis_9 WORLD TOUR ENCORE 'NOW TOMORROW.' held at Hwajung Gymnasium, Korea University, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, from January 30 to February 1. Building on their success in digital music and music shows, fromis_9 is currently acting as a 'cheat code' in various variety shows. Member Lee Chaeyoung garnered attention for her cover of AOA's 'Short Skirt' at the '2025 KBS Song Festival' and has since continued her activities, including serving as a solo MC for a web variety show and appearing on 'Radio Star,' while Park Jiwon was selected as the MC for Season 5 of 'Walkdol' and is currently active in the field. Attention is focused on whether Fromis9, who claimed the Summer Queen title with 'LIKE YOU BETTER' and earned a 'carol pension' with 'White Longing,' will continue their streak of three consecutive hits.
